These past few weeks have been really rough for me. However, in good news, in certain parts of Kitsap County, you’ll see South Kitsap represented well as two of us from the class of 1987 are listed on the same ballot. I kid you not. Oh wait, why? Because I’m running for Precinct Committee Officer. So if you see my name on the ballot, please do vote for me.

I know, you’re saying “I know nothing about you!”. Great, thanks for stopping by and read my “about me” page. Read a couple entries on what I like to talk about. Know that my main goal as even serving as PCO is hearing from my neighbors and passing that along to the right people. Or even being able to tell my community who they can pass that information or idea on to. There goes that political activist thing again. I’m a mommy, a blogger, a grandmommie and yes, I happen to be a democrat.

In other news, Abby Burlingame stopped by. Thanks for visiting Abby and the rest of you know her as one candidate who is running for county commissioner. She luckily posted video and then another link for the discussion on Transportation 2040 which obviously I need more caffeine the name just slipped my mind. I’ll have to read through this thoroughly because last time I heard anything..Kitsap was in some dire transportation dilemma and no one really had a feasible plan. Either that or there was this one time someone discussed Kitsap Transit and wow, some kids who depended on that very service for their job or getting around the county got really irate. Who cares? You should, so if you’re dying to see how the future of Washington state could be, read on.

Oh yes, I just received my ballot the other day in the mail. Have you received yours yet and gotten it back in? I’m sorry I spaced the candidate guide thing, but hopefully this will do in lieu of that.

Wait! Not registered to vote? I’m sorry you missed this ballot, but another one is coming up in November. So you’ll be wanting to register to vote straight away.
